Prefer to wander? From Syntagma Square it’s a pleasant 20-minute stroll, while taxis can drop you at the public car park next to the main western gate.

  • Main gate via the Propylaea (west) – the classic, but busiest, approach.
  • Side gate by the Theatre of Dionysus (south-east) – fewer queues, perfect for skip-the-line tickets.
  • Accessible elevator available – contact the ticket office in advance.
